Figure skating is undoubtedly a graceful athletic event that’s so wonderful to witness. It’s a treat, from the music to the perfectly choreographed movements and exquisite costumes. Based on this picture of the sailor’s rather unsightly expression, one might disagree but rest assured that a split second cannot take away from the entire experience.
Also, however unpleasant her open-mouthed expression may seem, we’ve got to admit the skater is very pretty. The camera happened to capture her at the wrong moment. We hope she wasn’t too disappointed by this picture and that she won the competition. A small thing like this shouldn’t be putting a dent in her celebrations.
