‘Hit It On The Nose’ Gone Wrong
If ice hockey games allowed a fully covered helmet, a lot of head and face injuries could easily be prevented. Sadly, the rules of the game do not avail this. Thus, when one is playing this sport, it’s better to be cautious about possible hazards, like the puck in this case. Hats off to the photog who managed to capture this nail-biting but awkwardly striking picture! One would not be wrong to assume that the puck hit the player’s nose right before he could safeguard it. Maybe the player took the coach’s “Hit it on the nose” instruction too seriously. Poor thing!
