Norah O’Donnell – Age 50
Norah Morahan O’Donnell is a highly regarded figure in American broadcast journalism, best known for anchoring the CBS Evening News. In addition to her role on CBS’s flagship news program, she contributes as a correspondent on 60 Minutes and hosts the interview series Person to Person. Her journalism journey began at Roll Call, reporting on congressional affairs. Since joining CBS, O’Donnell has regularly filled in on the CBS Evening News, starting on October 10, 2011.
In July 2024, she shared plans to step down as anchor after the U.S. presidential election, transitioning into a senior correspondent role. O’Donnell and her husband, restaurateur Geoff Tracy, split their time between Washington, D.C., and New York City’s Upper West Side. They have been married since June 2001.
