Orla Guerin & Michael Georgy – 19 Years Together
A Dublin, Ireland native, the journalist/broadcaster Orla Guerin started her career in the ’80s. She worked for the newspaper Sunday Tribune for a brief spell before joining RTÉ News. Born to work on the small screen, Guerin reported in Eastern Europe before making a big career move and landing a place on the BBC.
At Britain’s most renowned network, Guerin worked on shows such as “Six O’Clock News,” “BBC World News America,” “BBC Weekend News,” and “BBC at Ten O’Clock.” Very private about her personal affairs, she’s been married to the fellow journalist and Reuters correspondent Michael Georgy since 2003.
