Sue Barker and Lance Tankard – 34 Years
Sue Barker used to be quite a successful tennis player in her own right, winning 15 WTA Tennis titles and winning the French Open, one of the four Grand Slam events over the year. At one stage, she was even ranked as no.3 in the world. In 2022, she was a television presenter for the BBC.
After Sue had retired from professional tennis, she would work as a tennis coach. The two of them met one another in Portugal, where Sue was working at the time, and Lance happened to be on holiday. They have been a happy couple ever since they married in 1988.
