Hollywood lost one of its classic gems in Betty Lynn when she passed away in October 2021 at 95 years old. After a brief illness, she departed peacefully in her Mount Airy, North Carolina, home. The Andy Griffith Museum supplied all this information, as the actress was known for playing Thelma Lou on “The Andy Griffith Show.”
From Los Angeles, Lynn moved into her North Carolina apartment in January 2021. She had been in the process of writing an autobiography before her demise, and it will be published posthumously. Several cousins survive Lynn, who never got married.
