Donald Trump and Melania Trump – Together Since 2004
Since Donald Trump’s 2015 presidential campaign launch, he and former first lady Melania Trump have remained in the public eye. Their story began in 1998 when they met at a New York City Fashion Week event hosted by Paolo Zampolli, a mutual friend and co-owner of Metropolitan Models. Melania, who had moved to the U.S. from Slovenia in 1996 to pursue a modeling career, crossed paths with Trump that September.
They officially became a couple and, in 2005, tied the knot. Almost 20 years later, they share a son together, and Melania plays a role in the lives of Trump’s children from his previous marriage.
