Jane Hill is a BBC Newsreader who is a household name in the UK thanks to her work on the BBC. She is on TV virtually every day hosting the BBC News at One, five, and occasionally on weekends. At one point, she even did a film review to go with her five PM reading on a Friday.
She is married to BBC Camera operator Sara Shepherd. It’s a convenient marriage, but that doesn’t mean it’s been smooth sailing. Hill was diagnosed with breast cancer, having a mastectomy to get rid of it. She was declared cancer-free in 2021.
