The disgraced Matt Lauer, a former Today co-anchor, got the boot from NBC in November 2017 following misconduct allegations. Just four months later, Lauer listed his posh apartment on the Upper East Side and he managed to move it just a month later. Lauer had a $7.35-million asking price but rumor had it that he might have netted more in the $8-million range. Khalil Barrage, the managing director of The Invus Group, an investment firm, bought the 11-room abode. Lauer had spent $5.88 million on the sixth-floor apartment in 2004 and he was mostly the sole resident because his soon-to-be ex-wife Annette Roque spent more time at the Hamptons.
