Scream Queen Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween, True Lies, Freaky Friday) and her screenwriter-composer husband Christopher Guest have been residents of Santa Monica for many years now, and they live in this Spanish Colonial Revival home. When it was time to renovate the place, they turned to designer Jan McFarland Cox and architect Michael B. Lehrer.

The home needed a lot of landscaping in the back and they added a pool too. The 1920s-built house was perfect, but Jamie bought the adjacent home for $2.2 million in 2016, not with the intention of living in it. This is a trend among celebs to buy neighboring homes to maintain their privacy.
