This is not what we imagined pop royalty Britney Spears’s home to look like, but we were pleasantly surprised with her good taste in interior design. After making her financial managers very happy with her successful Las Vegas residency, she rewarded herself with a 21-acre Thousand Oaks estate, but then listed for $8.9 Million.

The Neoclassical Italianate home is 12,000 square foot large, and has 5 bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms. It also has a temperature controlled wine cellar that can hold 3,500-bottles and a media room. Apart from the infinity-edged pool and the 1,200-square-foot poolside pavilion, the estate’s grounds also feature an orchard, a tennis court, a spa, and a small golf course with sand traps.

The interior designer has made sure to make the house center-stage and Sidney is pretty happy with his wife’s work.
The property’s previous owners had done some repainting and maintenance so it didn’t need any major work done. Joanna quickly got to work to bring some life to the new space by combining classic and casual elements. Every room is adorned with antiquities and ornaments they have collected over the years.
